The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has selected Joe Caligiuri of the Dauphin Kings as the MJHL recipient of the 2010 RBC Junior A Scholarship.
The 2010 RBC Junior A Scholarship recipients, one from each of the CJHL’s 10 leagues, receive $1,000 toward post-secondary education. In his first season in the MJHL, Caligiuri quickly established himself as one of the elite goaltenders, reflected in his sparking 29-6-1 record, 2.59 GAA and .909 save percentage. GDI trained Caligiuri is now eligible for the national Junior A RBC Scholarship. The recipient of the $5,000 National RBC Junior A Scholarship will be presented at the 2010 RBC Royal Bank Cup in May. The winner of the National RBC Junior A Scholarship will be selected by a national panel of Hockey
