Ryplanski Commits to Niagara University



This years Female U-18 Team Manitoba goaltender Abby Ryplanski is continuing to build up her resume in hockey. Most recently Ryplanski has commited to Niagara University.

This season Ryplanski compiled a 2.16 GAA and a .937 Save Percentage over 18 games played with Balmoral Hall.

GDI Prairies would like to recognize Abby for both having a very successful season and for committing to Niagara University, furthering her future career with hockey.

Team Manitoba finishes CWG with a shootout win

HALIFAX, NS – Team Manitoba fell behind 1-0 in the period to a big and physical British Columbia team. Manitoba tied the game in the third with a goal by Shelby Bram. After a scoreless overtime period Manitoba once again headed to a shootout where they were able to earn the victory.

Long time GDI Prairies Goaltender Abby Ryplanski was able to battle back and recover from her last shootout loss in the placement round to hold on to help her province gain 5th place.

Team Manitoba U-18 Female Updates


U-18 Team Manitoba takes first two games at the Canada Winter Games.

The girls roll into game three on tuesday against the host team Nova Scotia with a goals for/ goals against ratio of 25-2.
