The
Yorkton Terriers are headed back to the SJHL final. The Terriers became the first team to punch their ticket to the final series Wednesday night when they defeated the Kindersley Klippers 3-2 in Kindersley to win the Sherwood Conference in four straight games.
Yorkton now awaits for the deciding series winner between
La Ronge and
Melfort, which may be done on Friday night as La Ronge currently has a 3-1 strangle hold on the series.
If La Ronge wins the Bauer final, the Credit Union Cup best of seven final will start at the Mel Hegland Arena. If Melfort comes back to win the series, the Terriers will claim home ice advantage. For more info on the SJHL playoffs
