CALGARY, Alta. - Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League, announced that 16 goaltenders will attend the sixth-annual Program of Excellence goaltending camp at Norma Bush Arena in Calgary from June 9-12.
Sixteen goaltenders - 10 in the under-20 age category (candidates for the National Junior Team) and six in the under-18 category (candidates for the National Men's Summer Under-18 Team) - will get the opportunity to work with a number of instructors during the four-day camp.
From Manitoba goaltenders Chris Driedger (Tri-City Americans, Under-18) and Calvin Pickard (Seattle Thunderbirds, Under-20) were selected to attend the annual camp in early June.
