Paulic Outstanding

This weeks AAA Defensive Player Award went out to Justin Paulic of the Norman Northstars.

Fifteen-year-old rookie Justin Paulic turned in a spectacular performance last Sunday, making an incredible 75 saves as he backstopped the Norman Northstars to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Winnipeg Thrashers.

He showed incredible poise all game, but especially in the last 2 minutes and 20 seconds when he made 12 saves while the Northstars were playing two men short.

Paulic has posted a 6-5 record, including four wins in his last five starts, and has an impressive .907 save percentage for the season.

He was drafted by the Moose Jaw Warriors and will play for Team Manitoba this February at the Canada Winter Games.
