GDI Prairies would like to congratulate Brooke Morin on her recent success this season and for receiving the Winnipeg Free Press Division player of the week award.
Brooke Morin, goalie of the St Norbert Celtics- helped backstop her team to a hard fought 2-1 game over St Mary's Academy Flames by stopping all but one of the 32 shots directed her way.
Brooke and her brother Noah have trained at GDI Prairies over the past two years and have developed a strong technical approach to the position. Both Brooke and Noah carry themselves with a confident demeanor that is shown through in their personality on and off the ice.
