Colorado Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson may have been the only reason why the outcome of Game 3 wasn’t decided in regulation. The San Jose Sharks relentlessly threw 51 shots against Anderson who denied each one setting an NHL Playoff record for making 50 saves in regulation without allowing a goal.
Anderson played many playoff games in the AHL, but 2010 marks his first appearance in the NHL playoffs. After backstopping his team for two victories, Anderson along with the Av's look to take a strangle hold on the series by winning the next game to go up three games to one.
...Lets hope next game the shots and chances for each team are more balanced! The second and third period combined equaled a total of 42 to 7 for San Jose in shot totals.
