Prairies Mid Season Camp Well Under Way

Four days are down and one to go. As the final day of the mid season tune up camp approaches each goaltender has put forth a full effort on and off the ice with attention payed to specific details of each goaltenders game.

Noted by a few of the students at camp, Monday was one of the toughest days to stretch through as each goaltender had previously completed a total of 5 hours of off ice workouts and 3 hours of on ice training. Off ice workouts consisted of explosive dryland training, in gym workouts, and core balance and reaction. On the ice goaltenders dedicated time to in net training that revolved around their post setup and post save response.

The countless number of repetitions that each goaltender has done and their attention to detail has helped them improve dramatically over the past few days. We hope that this continues into the second half of the season and we look forward to seeing your hard work pay off!
